construction quality feels decent. fits nicely in the back seat of our for maverick.

note that the bottom slants down toward the back of the vehicle more than it might appear in the photo. that said, it does create more room than the hammock type covers because of how much farther forward the flat bottom extends. it’s tight, but unless they’re leaned back it seems the front seats can go all the way back with the cover in place.

we don’t use the side walls, but instead have bushwhacker door covers installed. easier for getting the dogs in and out.

First, it's extremely stable and spacious for our medium sized border collie. Even big enough to fit her bed in fine. My parents have a basic hammock and the hard base on this makes it a completely different beast. Although you pay for it, it's worth it. I have a pickup so it also doubles as a safe spot to load groceries. It fits very well in my 2020 Chev Colorado.

One thing i took a gamble on is whether it can be used to occupy two of the rear seats instead of the whold back seat. While it's not designed to do this, we got it to work by reusing the side arm ring belt to go between the front set head wrests. And the far right rear head rest belt around the centre seat headrest. Not perfect, but it worked will and it was comfortable for a passenger in the back + dog.

Worth the extra over the soft base options. With this there is no chance of the dog slipping down the front of the seat, plus you can stash stuff in the footwell under it safely.

I did a lot of looking before buying this particular item. After watching reviews I was sold on this one and I was RIGHT!.. It fits my jeep perfectly and makes it safe for my little maligator to get from place to place with us. The bottom is sturdy so she does not fall into the floorboard and she is able to be strapped in but put her little head at our shoulders to see out the front. Also our daughter was able to sit int eh abck with her with the one side folded in and it was no problem at all. I highly reccomend this item.

I have a senior dog who has a hard time moving around and this cover gives him the stability he needed! he’s so much more comfortable and i have less to worry about, a win win!
